What I didn't know was that my 2011 Yukon has Lear's Car2U, not HomeLink. Then held button 1 until yellow light comes on. I followed the manual and it is not working. This was a concern as I did not know if the signal from the Homelink to the repeater was going to be either rolling code (encrypted) or plain (non encrypted). They sell a backwards compatibility option with their myQ stuff but frankly I'd just buy a different garage door opener instead of the backwards compatibility module and still getting locked into their stuff. HomeLink repeaters work the same way. When you press the Homelink button, it flashes quickly in rolling code mode (310Mhz vice 315 or 390MHz).
